As business developer and videographer for RSO, Staats returns to his work of the late ’90s, using ‘corporate story telling’ to build capacity through web and film. Over the Sun's Kai Staats is serving as the Director of Strategic Development for this India and U.S. based supercomputing startup. Founded by former IBM Cell product manager Ashwini Nanda, HPC Links has brought to market VERTEX, an open source software platform for cross-architecture, multi-core hybrid supercomputers. Staats works with Nanda and lead VERTEX developer Greg Rodgers, former chief architect of MareNostrum while at IBM, to infuse HPC Links with strategic vision and business development guidance.
